Folk Music and Song from Northern New Mexico

Enjoy an afternoon of New Mexico's traditional folk music and song provided by charismatic Cipriano Vigil from Chamisal in the Sangre de Cristos where he learned his craft from past musicians. He takes us back to the instiitutions of Spanish village rituals and the traditional music that bound families and neighbors into community. His new songs address poignant issues of today.
