Earth and Sky July 14 – 20
The Moon travels through the energetic signs of Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius this week. It then slips quietly into Pisces Sunday evening.
Venus emerges from her 38 day journey through the Underworld to emerge as the tranquil Evening Star on Wednesday. She disappeared from view June 9th, hidden by the Sun’s rays. You can see her shining brightly after sunset now, along with Jupiter. Love seems to be a theme as Venus, the goddess of love appears once again and festivals for the goddess take place this week. Thursday is the Great Festival of the Sun Goddess in Japan, and street processions go on all day. In North Africa, the holy marriage of Isis and Osiris is celebrated this weekend.
The Full Moon occurs July 18th in Capricorn. Full Moons illuminate and bring conscious awareness. This one is raising our awareness toward what is no longer relevant in our life now, and reflection on what is truly important. We may renew a commitment. Something that we put aside in the past could regain importance in our life again.

The weekend is very good for conferences and contract negotiations, just be careful not to be too arrogant. Be open to different points of view and we can enjoy some friendly debate or discussion if we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
