New Wave Rafting Co. is located on the banks of the Rio Grande, at Embudo, New Mexico, 50 miles north of Santa Fe and 20 miles south of Taos. We provide two full day trips and two half-day trips, which range in difficulty from Class 2 (easy) to Class 5 (more difficult). Our most popular trip is the half-day Racecourse, which is available twice daily, at 9 AM and 1 PM, and rated Class 3 at low and medium water levels and Class 4 at high water levels. Our very experienced and exceptionally well-trained guide staff, friendly and attentive office staff, well-illustrated and informative website, modern equipment, great food and attention to detail make our trips the very best available.
