Santa Fe Living Treasures

The extraordinary elders who are honored by the Santa Fe Living Treasures Committee are Treasures indeed. Their vitality and their commitment to good works are inspiring to everyone. The Living Treasures program was created in 1984 to thank these special people for their contributions to our community and to bring their stories to the public.

Photographs and brief biographies of our Treasures are available on The Santa Fe Living Treasures web site at www.sflivingtreasures.org. The web site also presents news about our ceremonies and other events, information on the history of the Living Treasures program, its founder, and on how to establish a similar program in other towns. Learn about the publication of our next book, and about nominating someone for the Living Treasures honor.
