History of ST&E:
Southwestern Title & Escrow, Inc. (ST&E) is a locally owned and operated title company in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The company was co-founded in 1994 by Linda Marquette, President and, husband, David Contarino, Vice President. Through the years, ST&E has built a reputation for providing unparalleled customer service; has demonstrated its civic commitment and leadership in the community; and earned recognition as an excellent employer. Through hard work and a philosophy of service and dedication, ST&E has been recognized by Santa Fe’s real estate community as a solid business partner. In 1999, ST&E earned the coveted “Business of the Year” award from the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce. In 2002, ST&E was nominated by the Capital City Business and Professional Women as their “2001-2002 Employer of the Year.” In 2002-2003 Linda was awarded “Affiliate of the Year” by the Santa Fe Association of Realtors and later that year ST&E was approved as a real estate training center by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission. In 2003-2004, ST&E was awarded “Employer of the Year” by the Capital City Business and Professional Women. And in 2003, Linda was appointed by the Governor to the New Mexico Real Estate Commission and served as President of the Commission in 2007. Because ST&E works hard to provide unmatched customer service, the company has enjoyed an A+ rating for customer satisfaction by the Better Business Bureau since 2003. Linda is committed to the community of Santa Fe and through ST&E, has helped to fund numerous charitable organizations while donating a great amount of time and energy to Boards and charities.
