Annie Lux is the author of Historic New Mexico Churches, recently published by Gibbs Smith Publishers. She has written for stage, screen, magazines, the Internet, and various corporations. She studied writing at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and at New York University, and received an MFA in playwriting from Columbia University in New York City. Recent plays include The Portable Dorothy Parker, performed in New York City at the Ensemble Studio Theater, and Grimm Reality, a short piece performed as part of the 2006 Santa Fe Playhouse Benchwarmers series. She is a frequent contributor to New Mexico Magazine.
