It's a challenge to do business when the realtor and the customer are separated by 3,400 miles and 4 time zones, but Susan Hadley helped us with a successful transaction.
We had very specific needs regarding the property we wanted, and Susan brought us many examples to help us narrow our focus and achieve our long-term goals. Viewing properties online was new to us, but very convenient prior to our arrival. When we finally landed in Santa Fe, we had a better idea of what we wanted. Susan helped us view more properties than I thought possible in order to reduce the field and make the right offer.
Our 1031 exchange was complicated by the time zones, physical distance and specific needs of all parties, but Susan helped us maintain focus and did a super job of keeping us on track through a successful closing. As you know, we were in a quandary about whether to build a home on a lot we already own, or buy a home that would be a less expensive undertaking. We were very confused and needed help, and through our relationship with you, were able to come to a decision quickly.
Richard and I have worked with many realtors through the years, both in trying to buy and sell homes, and we just wanted you to know that you are by far the best realtor we have ever worked with. We are currently working with a realtor in Wisconsin who we contracted to sell our home. It seems we never know the progress with this sale and are always initiating the conversation with him to find out the status. The house has been on the market now for over a year and we are continually wondering if we should be switching realtors, while we continue to lose money every month. We are not having a great experience with him.
