KSFR, Santa Fe Public Radio, 101.1 FM

Please Feel at Home. This is Open-Minded, Unintimidated Public Radio.

That's what we believe Public Radio should be. Especially here in Santa Fe, "The City Different." KSFR demonstrates this commitment 24 hours a day, with programs that reflect the independent, thoughtful perspectives of our own community, as well as those of other critical thinkers around the world. You'll hear opinions that don't toe the line, from all corners of an issue.

Santa Fe Public Radio's insistence on diversity extends to the music we play. Nearly every musical genre is represented in the course of our broadcast week. We pay special attention to local New Mexico musicians whose talent often finds an appreciative audience among KSFR listeners.

KSFR News covers Northern New Mexico with the largest radio news team in the capitol city. Reporting on the international scene, we count on our partner, BBC World Service, the largest independent news organization in the world.

Dal Dearmin, KSFR General Manager, can be reached at 505-428-1394, or email dal@ksfr.org. Listen at 90.7 or 101.1 FM. Please support Santa Fe Public Radio with your pledge at www.ksfr.org.

Show Synopsis

"SANTA FE RADIO CAFE" - YOU WANT FAIR AND BALANCED? - Mary Charlotte asks insightful questions -- and lets her guests talk -- every weekday morning at 8 on the "Santa Fe Radio Cafe." The people you know and the people you want to know. Live weekdays from the Santa Fe Baking Company.

"AT NOON" - KSFR's Expanded Midday News is a full hour each weekday. We follow local events in depth and rely on our partners at BBC World Service, the largest independent news-gathering organization in the world, for thorough, unbiased international coverage. "At Noon -- Weekend Edition" reviews the major stories of the week just past. It airs Saturday and Sunday. KSFR NAMED 'STATION OF THE YEAR' FOR NEWS IN 2004, 2005 AND 2006 - Winners of a record 36 awards (listen) for broadcast excellence in the three most recent Associated Press competitions, the AP also named Santa Fe's Only Public Radio 'New Mexico Station of the Year' for News for three years in a row.

"THE JOURNEY HOME" with Diego Mulligan celebrates its tenth year on KSFR. Seeking practical solutions, skipping corrosive ideology. Join Diego Mulligan and guests live weekday afternoons. It's the independent "drive home" alternative to the usual blah blah radio talk.

"MOUTH OF WONDER" with Stacy Pearl.

Each week host Stacy Pearl and her lovely co-host Angela Reece present Mouth of Wonder, a half hour of topical, fast-paced, humorous banter with lots of solid cooking advice thrown in, a variety of segments, and some great musical introductions. The segments include:
