New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced today the production, Enemy Way, starring Forest Whitaker (The Last Stand, The Last King of Scotland, Ghost Dog), will begin filming in April around Albuquerque and Deming.
“We are pleased to be co-hosting the filming of Enemy Way,” said Mayor Andres Z. Silva, City of Deming. “As with other movies that have been shot in the region and state, the film industry continues to find that New Mexico's hospitality is second to none.”

Directed by Rachid Bourchareb (Outside the Law, Days of Glory) and Produced by Jean Brehat (Outside the Law, Days of Glory) and Allen Bain (Just Like a Woman), Enemy Way tells the story of an ex-convict who gets a second chance, but the local law wants to send him back to prison.
