Pick Up and Drop Off Locations In Santa Fe
Sandia Shuttle Express picks up and drops off guests at all hotels, motels and Bed & Breakfast locations in Santa Fe. In addition, passengers can arrange pick up or drop off at St. John's College, the College of Santa Fe and a few other non-hotel locations. Santa Fe residents and visitors not staying in listed locations are picked up or dropped off at the Hotel Santa Fe.
The Sandia Shuttle Express check-in counter is located inside the airport on the Baggage Claim Level across from Southwest's Baggage Carousel #3. The check-in counter is staffed by customer service representatives between 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM seven days a week. Beyond these hours, the shuttle drivers staff the check-in counter approximately 30 minutes before each departure. Reservations are required to guarantee a seat, but walk-on passengers are always welcome if space is available.
Ideas for Easier Travel
Let Sandia Shuttle Express do the driving!
The beautiful 60 mile drive from Albuquerque International Airport takes about 70 minutes. Why not sit back and enjoy the magnificent New Mexico scenery? Arrive rested and relaxed, plus we'll heft your luggage for you.
Leave your car at home!
One of Santa Fe's many charms is it lovely, adobe lined streets. Curvy, narrow byways are a part of the 16th century layout of the town. Most streets have Spanish names. The somewhat unpredictable address numbering system brings a sense of adventure to getting about. Parking can be in very short supply, particularly in the downtown Plaza area. Wouldn't you rather let someone else do the navigating?
Call a Cab!
Capital City Cab provides 24-hour taxicabs at reasonable rates. A ride is just a phone call away at 438-0000. Not only will a fleet of comfortable sedans be at your service, but the drivers can actually find their way around the maze of caminos, calles and paseos! And if you need a taxicab when you get off the shuttle, ask your driver to arrange for a cab to be waiting when you arrive.
Bring your walking shoes!
Santa Fe is one of the most walkable cities you will ever visit. Many hotels and motels are a comfortable walk from the Plaza, the heart of Santa Fe. It is the center of dining, shopping, art galleries and many of the cultural attractions that make Santa Fe such a magical place. Many Plaza shops have good walking maps, or you can always ask a passing Santa Fean for directions. We are out there walking, too!
Rent a bike, not a car!
Check out the comparison between leaving the driving to Sandia Shuttle Express and the expense of renting a car for your visit to Santa Fe. Info on bike rentals is right here!
Take the bus!
Santa Fe Trails, the city's bus system, can get you where you need to go. Buses have bike racks, so if pedaling at the high altitude tires you out, just hop on the bus!
Let us take you the whole way with Residential Express!
We would be happy to arrange to have Capital City Cab handle one leg of your trip and take you from your or a friends door to the Airport and back, with no need to drive to one of our pickup locations. Speak to one of our reservationists for all of the details!
