The April 12 Show
Sotheby's International Realty's weekly radio show features host Rey Post and a variety of special guests offering the best news, information and commentary regarding every aspect of today's real estate market.
This Sunday---in the first hour of the show---join show host, Sotheby’s International Realty Associate Broker Rey Post and his co-host, Stephen Etre, Owner of Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery, and their guests for a special “Pre-Tax Day” themed program. Rey, Stephen and their fellow commentators will discuss a variety of important real estate issues. Stephen will also offer an update on his interaction---at the gallery and through his estate sales---with home owners, buyers and sellers, as well as real estate professionals.
Ron Blessey, Private Mortgage Banker with Wells Fargo Private Client Bank, will offer some observations on lender issues that are relevant to the show’s theme and are important to consumers who plan to use mortgage products and services when purchasing a home.
Kim Shanahan, Executive Officer with the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association, will update the audience on special initiatives being pursued by professional contractors, as well as his organization. Kim will also offer his observations on the outcome of this year’s New Mexico legislative session, including his thoughts on matters important to those in the home construction and remodeling trades.
In the first hour's "Open House of the Week" segment, Rey will interview William Lee---a member of the firm’s Darlene Streit Group---as he stages an open house at 23 Camino Barranca. This three-bedroom home, sited on an elevated lot in the community of Aldea and offering numerous features, is being co-listed by Rey and Darlene and is an attractive option for home buyers searching for a property during the spring market. In the second hour of the program, Rey will welcome the Co-Founders and organizers of the 2015 Santa Fe Concorso rare car gathering, Beverly and Dennis Little. This special event is the premier gathering in the Southwest of rare and exotic cars and motorcycles and will be staged at The Club at Las Campanas onSeptember 25, 26 and 27.
Under the All Things Real Estate radio show “Unique Destinations” series, Rey will broadcast for two hours from this nationally-known event beginning at noon (Mountain Time) on Sunday, September 27 featuring commentary from a variety of special guests (the show will also video stream images of the featured cars and special guest interviews to a national audience on SantaFe.com).
Beverly and Dennis Little will offer a preview of the September gathering of some 100 vintage automobiles and motorcycles, including a discussion of this year’s Concorso three-part theme: “Ferrari In America,” as well as “Concept Cars” and “Boyd Coddington Hotrods.”
Also joining in the conversation are two very special guests. Kip Wasenko, the former Director of General Motors Design For Performance Division, who was responsible for some of the most memorable car designs and limited edition programs of this major automobile manufacturer, will offer observations on his longtime relationship with the Ferrari car brand. Also joining in the conversation is Tom Burnside, internationally known motorsports photographer who has covered some of the most famous races in motorsport history. Tom was a photojournalist for, or photographed motorsports for Life magazine, Sports Illustrated, Car & Driver, Road & Track, Sports Cars Illustrated, and other well-known publications.
The show’s “Unique Destinations” series features people, places and events that are important to our economy, culture and real estate market. Sotheby’s International Realty has a longtime and major relationship with the community of Las Campanas (the venue for the Santa Fe Concorso), representing numerous home buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions.
