Cat Tracks April 2 2018

Cat Tracks Week of April 2

Wow! Seems a few cats doing some cat nip snuck into The Cat studio on Sunday and took over the station for a while. Had to call Animal Control to get them out. I think everything’s back to normal at least for a while. Apologies to anyone who was offended. The intent was to put a smile on people’s faces on April Fools Day.

Musically there sure are a lot of big bands out there. We’ve added the Kevin Kaska Jazz Orchestra, the Ken Peplowski Big Band, and the John Colianni Sextet which has a full sound.

This Tuesday night at 7 on The Beatles- All Jazzed Up we’re featuring music from The White Album. Ella Fitzgerald doing Savoy Truffle? Check it out!

And be sure to check out Viva Jazz with Nacha Mendez for your Latin jazz fix Wednesdays from 7p-9p.

Thursdays we completely switch gears to the lounge-iest lounge show around with the Kitty Cat Lounge from 7p-10p.

And Sundays take a trip down memory lane and check out the new show with Rocki Gorman from 9a-10a with A Sunday Kind of Love. This week's show is dedicated to the Sirens of Song featuring all females singing some of the Great American Songbook . . . their way! Ella, Eydie Gorme, Patsy Cline, Peggy Lee, Rosemary Clooney, Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.
