Lannan Announces 2013-14 Event Season

Season runs Sept. 25, 2013 through May 21, 2014

The Lannan Foundation has announced its event schedule for the 2013-14 season. The massively popular lecture series kicks off Sept. 25 with a talk by climate justice activist Tim DeChristopher and discussion with author Terry Tempest Williams and closes Sept. 25, 2014 with a lecure and conversation with modern Irish fiction writer Colm Tóibín and "Bookworm" radio's Michael Silverblatt. The season encompasses 13 talks from leading minds in social activism, cultural understanding and the arts. Lannan Foundation describes itself as a private family foundation in Santa Fe, NM dedicated to cultural freedom, diversity and creativity. Here is the full schedule.
