History

Founded by George Myers in 1948, it has been sixty years since The Pantry Restaurant is said to have set a standard of excellence and quality that is still linked with its name. Its dining rooms may have been the starting point of many political decisions and business deals. Since its establishment, the different owner operators or stewards of The Pantry Restaurant amount to the number seven, who have brought it to where it is today. The current owner is the Singley Family, who plans to sustain the tradition of The Pantry Restaurant for several years to come.

The Pantry Restaurant serves breakfast all day and crack over 300,000 eggs in a year. And they use over 26 tons of potatoes in addition to 7 tons of green chile. They brew over 2 tons of coffee and they have homemade desserts as well as nightly specials.
