You don’t need a newcomer to tell you that one of the best things going for Santa Fe is the Farmers’ Market at the Railyard on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

And now there’s an added market day—Thursday—when the Santa Fe Alliance hosts Cook with the Chef, a series of cooking demonstrations by local chefs who support the Alliance’s Farm to Restaurant project.

“It’s getting really popular,” said Kathleen Chambers, project coordinator for Farm to Restaurant. “We have a dedicated audience this year with the Thursday market. People are really interested, taking notes and asking lots of questions.”

I went to a Cook with the Chef last year when Chef Megan Tucker of Amavi demoed one of her signature dishes. She’ll be back on August 4th .
