Paella Party

The Spanish Table—that wonderful shop where you can pick up imported cheese, fish, sausages and ham,  spices and other food as well as wine and tableware from Spain and Portugal —is celebrating its 12th anniversary in Santa Fe  Saturday, July 26 (during Spanish Market) with an Outdoor Paella Party. The annual event features a demo of how to make paella outside on the grill, followed by a tasting, which you don't want to miss.

The Spanish Table—also located in Seattle, Berkeley and Mill Valley, Calif.—sells many of the ingredients used in its paella recipe, from saffron and Spanish-style soft chorizo to Valencia rice, red piquillo peppers, garrofon beans and more, so you can make their paella at home, paired with a classic Spanish wine or sangria.
