Santa Fe Secrets

"I realized it was possible to win contests just by listening to my favorite music, and by registering online..."

Will wonders in this Land of Enchantment never cease?  I feel like everyday is an adventure and I get to be part of the wonder called Santa Fe. People are wonderful, eccentric, fun and friendly. On top of that, I get to listen to new music and attend favorite concerts and events for free.

One of the best kept secrets in Santa Fe is revealed by listening to our local radio stations aired by Hutton Broadcasting.  I am an avid fan FM stations 98.1 KBAC and 101.5, which play new hits and an alternative music mix.  I feel as though all of the radio announcers are old friends. They ease the monotony of my mundane duties of my work. I realized it was possible to win contests just by listening to my favorite music, and by registering online for information and chances to win tickets.  I've had a blast at sponsored events and concerts which I've never been able to attend before I moved to Santa Fe, including Michael Franti, the Soul Train event of the year, the Santa Fe Brewery concerts and many more fun and bizarre things to do.

I have photos for a Soul Train event sponsored by the radio station. I won two tickets for Soul Train just by calling into the station, and I enjoyed the ride on the train with my husband. After imbibing at the cash bar, and running them dry, we enjoyed the sites from the outside open car, waving at everybody as we passed the intersections.  We soon arrived in Lamy, where we enjoyed free food and entertainment at a haunted saloon. Check out Hutton Broadcasting's radio stations and register when you come to visit from near or far. You'll meet people and create memories you'll never forget.
