Storms Thunder

- July 26, 2011

New Mexican fury unleashes its power

dark gray clouds fill the sky

winds surge

rains pour

the whole world tossed around

leftovers washed away

thunder and lightening

clashes and dances

across wide open skies

heat hides as cool air

emerges and refreshes

the pysche feels relief

traumas momentarily erased

a wave of joy fills villages to cities

the skin thirstily soaks up

ionized waters.

even plants sing

have you listened?

they capture the magic

so humans might remember the next morning.

the wild and those wandering outdoors

catch glimpse of the afternoon rainbows

often double rainbows over the mountains.

sing with the plants

claiming joy and thanks.

burst forth renewed and a true believer
