Blossoms & Bones Music Festival Announces Lineup for 2024 Festival

Festival Dates: Sept 12-14, 2024 • Ghost Ranch, Abiquuiu, NM

Georgia O’Keeffe first traveled to Ghost Ranch in 1934, a breathtaking setting that would later influence her most renowned artworks and become her permanent residence. During her time there, O’Keefe painted her trademark works that often featured the stark reds and ochres of the desert mesas around her home.

Ninety years after her first visit, the Blossoms & Bones Ghost Ranch Music Festival welcomes both music enthusiasts and admirers of O’Keeffe to explore Ghost Ranch, a place steeped in the timeless beauty of the ancient high desert that O’Keeffe once introduced to the world.

This festival offers an exhilarating and eclectic mix of performers from September 12 through September 14, 2024 at Ghost Ranch located in Abiquiu, New Mexico, just north of Santa Fe on Highway 84. You will want to experience this intimate festival in the breathtaking scenery that inspired Georgia O’Keeffe’s life and work.

The lineup of performers is designed to honor O’Keeffe’s immense artistic impact, set against the backdrop of the same vivid skies, golden cliffs, scarlet mesas, and the distinctive light and atmosphere that fueled her
extraordinary life’s work.

This two-day event features incredible music, options for camping and glamping, fantastic food vendors, and beverages from local New Mexico breweries and distilleries. You can also enjoy some of New Mexico’s finest hiking trails, morning yoga sessions, swimming, horseback riding, and after-show “Love & Happiness” dance parties hosted by Raashan Ahmad, among other activities.

Performers include:

Vance Joy, Mavis Staples, Lucinda Williams, Courtney Barnett, Ehtel Cain, The California Honeydrops, Mick Mulvey, Dakhabrakha, Elisapie, Red Light Cameras, Raashan Ahmad.

On-site campers and lodgers have the option to arrive at the Ranch a day early to partake in a special welcome gathering. This campfire performance includes Brett Dennen and Gone Gone Beyond, and a special cookout menu by Ghost Ranch Chef Patrick Garrity. Other food vendors will be open for this event, and ticket holders for this special extra day have FREE camping at Sunrise Camping area that Thursday night.

Two-day tickets grant entry to both the full Friday and Saturday events, including Raashan Ahmad’s Love & Happiness after-hours dance parties and live music during Sunday morning yoga with Elisapie.

Ticket holders also have complete access to all hiking trails and additional ranch amenities. Admission for children 14 and under is free, and they do not require advance pass reservations. This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions. The lineup may change, and no refunds are available.

The bones seem to cut sharply to the center of something that is keenly alive on the desert even though it is vast and empty and untouchable — and knows no kindness with all its beauty.
