Meet Bishop’s Lodge
The Art of Adventure & The Adventure of Art |
Settled more than 150 years ago by Bishop Jean Baptiste Lamy, this iconic Santa Fe landmark has undergone a sensitive restoration to preserve its distinctive Southwestern heritage for the next generation. Explore our vibrant culture of discovery and expression through nature-driven adventures, visual arts, ancient healing arts, culinary journeys, and memorable celebrations.
The accommodations at Bishop’s Lodge were crafted with reverence for the rich textures and subtle colors of New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and the talented local artisans in Santa Fe. Choose from four styles of accommodations: guestrooms, suites, casitas, or the 12-room bunkhouse. Each invites you to reconnect with your loved ones and a slow, intentional way of life lived in harmony with the land.
The signature restaurant, Skyfire, draws inspiration from the diverse, rich ingredients, and textures found in Mexico, and infuses them with unexpected modern techniques. The transformative element of fire is present throughout the bar, main dining room, and terrace where piñon or cedar wood logs are burned to evoke a scent which roots you to our grounding atmosphere, and the wood-fired grill imparts complexity to bright, vibrant dishes.
