Meet Santa Fe Children’s Museum
The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is a nonprofit institution with a mission that helps children discover the joy of learning, play, and community through extraordinary learning experiences across the arts, sciences, and humanities.
Weekly programs offer children and families opportunities to explore themes around science, literacy, art, and more. Each Wednesday early learners can enjoy our Wee Wednesdays, with story time, music, and art activities. Thursday is Seeds and Sprouts which explores food in our community garden with nature-based fun! Fine Art Fridays present unique art and cultural programs, working with local NM artists and community partners. And, on Saturday, visitors can explore the wacky world of animals and science with Science Saturday, and a weekly Feeding of Cornelius the Corn Snake.
The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is based on a simple idea: children learn by doing. The museum provides an informal environment that fosters connections among children and families and encourages active participation in the learning process through interactive exhibits and programs. As a site for family outings, children and parents are brought together in the spirit of challenging play.
