Join us for live Turkish and Arabic Sufi Music by Zevk Ensemble (www.zevk505.com) featuring Rabia and Benyamin van Hattum with Jeremy Bleich, Gregory Gutin, Deborah Ungar, Meg York, James Messerich, and Pete Jacobs.
There are 100 refugess who will be resettled in Santa Fe starting in January, with 15 to 20 families, estimating 25-30 will be children.   Lutheran Social Services is taking the lead and coordinating the efforts.  The groups will be mainly from Central Africa and the Middle East with some from South America.  Financial contributions can be made to Lutheran Social Services and earmarked for Santa Fe refugees, and will be accepted at the concert.

Zevk Ensemble is the combined effort of husband and wife team Benyamin and Rabia van Hattum. They are supported by other musicians inspiring and delighting audiences worldwide that range from kindergarden to the elderly. They are committed to using their performing talents to express that tolerance and appreciation of cultural and religious differences is the basis of a peaceful world, and that everyone becomes richer by sharing. Zevk is a Turkish word conveying spiritual taste and joy coming from an uplifted heart.
