Glenn Greenwald is an investigative journalist and author. A former constitutional lawyer, he founded the online global media outlet The Intercept with Laura Poitras and Jeremy Scahill in 2014. He is the author of several best sellers—most recently No Place to Hide: Edward Snowden, the NSA, and the US Surveillance State. Tom Engelhardt created and runs TomDispatch.com, a project of The Nation Institute, where he is a fellow. His most recent book is "Shadow Government: Surveillance, Secret Wars, and a Global Security State in a Single-Superpower World".

Engelhardt was a senior editor at Pantheon Books, where he edited and published award-winning works ranging from Art Spiegelman’s Maus and John Dower’s War Without Mercy to Eduardo Galeano’s Memory of Fire trilogy. He is a consulting editor at Metropolitan Books, as well as coeditor of Metropolitan’s The American Empire Project, which has published best-selling works by Chalmers Johnson, Andrew Bacevich, and Noam Chomsky, among others.
