Join us for the third annual Museum Hill Community Day on Sunday, September 25, presented by the Museum Hill Partners: the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian, the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, the Museum of International Folk Art, the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art, the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, and the National Park Service.

Museum Hill will be buzzing with activity from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.! Here at the Wheelwright Museum, we have facepainting, storytelling by Joe Hayes, a collage workshop with Sallyann Paschall (Cherokee), and treasure hunts in the galleries. Activities and admission at all institutions are FREE!

Treasure Hunt
All day, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Children’s activity  
Explore the museum’s galleries on a self-paced, guided hunt for specific artwork and information, and color in your own designs based on work in the shows. Upon completion of the activity sheet, head to the Case Trading Post to claim your corn necklace (supplies limited)!

Stop on by the classroom for wearable art! A selection of designs and patterns will be available, and custom requests are welcome. Come get your face painted!

Join Sallyann Milam Paschall (Cherokee Nation) for a collage workshop downstairs in the classroom. Two sessions are offered at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Get your creativity flowing and make some art!
