Spend a fascinating and inspiring Saturday with noted photographers Norman Mauskopf and Kurt Markus as they share the varied influences that helped shape their photography and review the work that inspires them to sustain long and distinguished careers. They discuss their insights and the valuable lessons they have gleaned from the individual photographs, books, and the careers of past and contemporary masters of photography.

The guest list includes "appearances" from numerous acknowledged masters, such as Irving Penn, Edward Weston, Richard Avedon, Dorothea Lange, Ansel Adams, Andre Kertesz, Eugene Atget, W. Eugene Smith as well as a few photographers you may not have expected or heard of. Contemporary photographers working in black and white and color are also considered and reviewed. In addition, Norman and Kurt show images from their own archives, illustrating the direct influence these revered masters have had on their image making.
