The first ever Santa Fe Parkinson's Benefit Concert is for the Santa Fe Chapter of the NM Parkinson's Coalition. The funds raised will be used to continue exercise classes and support group in Santa Fe, to pay for facilities to offer new exercise opportunities and to offer scholarships for classes for those of limited means in the Santa Fe area.
The Parkinson's Coalition is a grassroots organization powered by volunteers to provide information, resources and support for people with Parkinson's Disease and their caregivers and families. They provide a website, NMParkinson.org,, as well as exercises classes, support groups and an Annual Conference.
Performing the concert will be "Moody Little Sister", a husband and wife duo from Portland, OR whose original music has been described as:
