Known for her virtuosity, improvisational prowess, and unique jazz and R&B stylings, singer Dianne Reeves has received five Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Vocal Album and an honorary doctorate of music from Julliard. Her magical, timeless voice, exceptional personality, and the sheer force of her performance mark her as a captivating world-class artist. As Wynton Marsalis puts it, “She has one of the most powerful, purposeful, and accurate voices of this or any time.”

“The most admired jazz diva since the heyday of Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.” —The New York Times

“Dianne Reeves is one of our generation’s definitive jazz masters, a vocal stylist of extraordinary skill and vivacity.” — The Huffington Post

Dianne’s 2015 Grammy-winning album, Beautiful Life, epitomizes the spirit of her storied and extraordinary career, traversing many genres. It features an all-star cast including bassists Esperanza Spalding and Richard Bona, vocalists Gregory Porter and Lalah Hathaway, pianists Robert Glasper and Gerald Clayton, and Reeves’ cousin and long-time time collaborator, the late George Duke.

Reeves was featured in George Clooney’s 2005 Academy Award-nominated movie “Good Night, and Good Luck,” and she won her fourth Best Jazz Vocal Grammy for the film’s soundtrack. She was the first Creative Chair for Jazz for the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the first singer to ever perform at the famed Walt Disney Concert Hall. In 2016 she received a United States Artists Doris Duke Fellowship.
