This year, the 30th Annual Haciendas: A Parade of Homes returns on August 12 – 14, and 19 – 21, giving you two full weekends to experience remarkable homes across Santa Fe.

With 14 gorgeous homes on the docket, this is your opportunity to witness in-person old-world craftsmanship that has been handed down through generations, along with cutting-edge design and innovative use of materials that continue to make Santa Fe famous. Experience the stellar work of area professionals in design and construction, green builders, architects, and next-generation innovators and get an immersive experience in Santa Fe style.

But Haciendas isn’t just about checking out homes. It’s about meeting the builders and designers, talking to them about their work, and maybe even inspiring creativity in your own home building process. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Haciendas, the builders, along with the greater creative community, have pulled out all the stops with a full slate of special events for your enjoyment.

Extraordinary Community Spaces Tour

Special tours of four spaces you’ve been longing to see take place during limited hours of Hacienda weekends. Included in the tours are Vladem Contemporary, the New Mexico School for the Arts and the Art Institute, on Saturday, August 13, at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1 p.m. On Saturday, August 20, the tours include The Siler Yard Arts+Creativity Center, and the Baca District – Santa Fe Railyard & Trailhead, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tickets for tours are free, but limited. Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 16, 5:30 – 9:30, as the Santa Fe Area Homebuilders Association presents an elegant and festive evening at the Historic La Fonda Hotel on the Santa Fe Plaza, to celebrate the builders, deep remodelers, specialty contractors and designers who make this Parade possible. Awards will be presented for 2022 Grand Hacienda, Best in Show Santa Fe Modern, Best in Show Santa Fe Traditional, Craftsmanship, People’s Choice, Green Building, and many more.

Twilight Parade Tours

Each year some of the Hacienda builders host special twilight tours of their beautiful homes during the golden hour, replete with cocktail and hors d’oeuvres. This year Scott Cherry and the team at Lightfoot host a twilight tour on August 19, 4 – 8 p.m., at the historic 1921 BJO Nordfeldt home, where they recently completed a 100 year deep remodel that preserves Nordfeldt’s legendary imprint on the home.

2022 Hacienda: A Parade of Homes VIP Reception – The Deer Stalker Residence

On Saturday, August 20, Hacienda presents a reception at the Deer Stalker residence. Hosted by SFAHBA members, Architect & Builder Ramón Gabriel Martinez, and Luxury Real Estate Broker & Builder Paul Sidebottom of High Desert Architecture & High Desert Homes, ticket holders will get exclusive access to the home of the 2021 New Mexico Chef of the Year Christian Pontiggia. The Santa Fe Symphony Chamber Ensemble will perform at the event, with proceeds going to the Santa Fe Symphony Youth Mentorship Program.
