Dave’s Jazz Bistro celebrates an 80th birthday “homecoming” for Grammy Award-winning jazz great Eddie Daniels, Saturday, October 16, 2021, 6:30 p.m. A native New Yorker who now makes his home in Santa Fe, Eddie will perform music from his pandemic project, a soulful new album entitled Night Kisses, on which he plays the flute, saxophone and clarinet.
Eddie will be joined on keyboards by John Rangel, a multi-faceted musician, composer and producer, also originally from New York, now based in Santa Fe. Keeping the beat will be John Trentacosta, a native New Yorker, jazz drummer, radio host, educator and jazz presenter. Performer, composer and educator Terry Lee Burns rounds out the quartet on bass.
