MUSIC TOGETHER ANNOUNCES FALL SEMESTER 2020 ONLINE & IN PERSON

Harmonic Kids, the local Music Together Center in New Mexico, is pleased to announce three ONLINE and in person music and language programs for families with children ages 0-8: Family Music Together classes (0-5 years); Rhythm Kids (4-8 years) and Canta y Baila Conmigo (0-5 years). Canta y Baila Conmigo is a Spanish immersion and music class.

All programs are interactive weekly classes online and the Family Music classes are also offered in person outdoors in four locations in Albuquerque, one in the East Mountains and two in Santa Fe.

Inspired By Excellence ONLINE MASTERCLASS – Joseph Conyers, Bass: A masterclass series available for the Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association students and community. These extraordinary performing and teaching artists will lead masterclasses the second Wednesday of each month at 6pm. These festival medalists, leading soloists, orchestra principals and chamber musicians – as well as entrepreneurs – will be coming to you in Santa Fe via Zoom. Online Watercolor Class

Online: Watercolor Class- We invite you to join us for a workshop exploring the works of Georgia O’Keeffe through the medium of watercolor. We will begin with by looking at and discussing O’Keeffe’s watercolor paintings, focusing on O’Keeffe’s uses of color, blending, and paint application. Participants will then be given an introduction to watercolor application and techniques that they can apply in creating their own paintings. Drawing with Color

ONLINE CLASS: Join us for an intimate online drawing class to deep-dive into the world of color. Throughout the class we will explore how Georgia O’Keeffe used color within her artwork and use this as inspiration to create your own drawings. The class will utilize different color theory exercises and practices from Arthur Wesley Dow’s book, Composition. The class will be 90 minutes in length and interactive. Led by local artist Liz Brindley.
