Santa Fe Indigenous Center (SFIC) presents Indigenous Community Day at Ragle Park, Saturday, September 18, 2021, 12-4 p.m. This FREE event brings the community of Santa Fe together to celebrate Native culture through dance and music, enjoy art projects, visit nonprofit booths and share a meal together, plus other fun activities. Over 20 non-profit will participate to educate the public on the services they offer to the community.

The festivities begin at 12 p.m. with an opening prayer, followed by traditional Native dances from the local Pueblo communities. Attendees will be invited to share a catered community meal while listening to traditional and contemporary Native singers and dancers. Face painting plus art and craft activities will be situated under the trees for children and adults to explore their creativity. Hand drummers will engage the community in round dances. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and sitting blankets. Special announcements, poetry, and raffles too! For more information, visit the website, or call 505-660-4210.
