The Santa Fe Plaza Concert Series presents singer/songwriters Jono Manson and David Berkeley, Monday, August 23, 2021, 6 p.m.
In a career that spans over five decades, singer-songwriter, producer, and taste-maker Jono Manson has become something of a roots rock icon. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, he was a key figure in NYC’s Nightingale Bar scene, the venue that kickstarted the careers of Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors, and Joan Osborne, among so many others. Songwriter and author David Berkeley writes songs capable of both breaking and mending the heart. The San Francisco Chronicle calls him a “musical poet,” and the New York Times praises his “lustrous, melancholy voice with shades of Tim Buckley and Nick Drake.”
The Santa Fe Plaza Concert Series invites young and old alike to gather together and enjoy FREE live music in the 400-year-old historic heart of Santa Fe. Bring chairs and water bottles but leave the alcohol at home. This event is a free, all-ages show sponsored by AMP Concerts.
