The annual city Fourth of July celebration is hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe and Event Chair Ray Sandoval said they’re planning for a full public celebration on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Santa Fe Place Mall, with viewing of the fireworks from the north parking lot. Enter via Cerrillos Road, Rodeo Road westbound, or Zafarano.
“We’re planning for a totally in-person event at Santa Fe Place Mall including live entertainment, food trucks, the reveal of the 2021 Zozobra Art, and unforgettable fireworks display to celebrate the birth of our nation,” said Sandoval.
There will also be a lowrider bike raffle from F4BK-Free Bikes For Kidz New Mexico. DJs from 107.5 Outlaw Country & Jam’n 94.7 will be there and Santa Fe Place Mall says there will also be a carnival, magicians, face-painting, a beer garden, and more.
Sandoval added that contingency plans are in place if anything changes regarding federal and state public health guidelines, but Kiwanis is moving ahead confidently. He says, “As our city re-opens, we really want people to celebrate together and share our gratitude as one big inclusive community.”
