The International Shakespeare Center presents a talk by Duane W. Roller, titled Shakespeare, Antony and Cleopatra, Sunday, July 25, 7 p.m. Historian, archaeologist and classical scholar, Duane is Professor Emeritus of Classics at Ohio State University and currently lives in Santa Fe. He is the author of 15 books and has excavated in Greece, Italy, Turkey and the Levant. He is a three-time Fulbright scholar and, most recently, the Karl-Franzens Distinguished Chair of Cultural Studies at the University of Graz, Austria. This talk is presented in conjunction with Upstart Crows of Santa Fe’s production of Antony and Cleopatra at UU Santa Fe, and is part of the International Shakespeare Center’s Santa Fe Summer Shakespeare Festival programming.
