The US Army Corps of Engineers staff at Abiquiu Lake are hosting a Trunk or Treat event, Saturday, October 30, 2021, 12-2 p.m. The public is invited to come and decorate their vehicle’s trunks for this free event. Set up begins at 11:30 a.m. Bags will be provided. Please bring only pre-packaged candy to give to participants. Multiple local agencies including the New Mexico State Police Department, Rio Arriba County Substance, Treatment, Outreach and Prevention Program (RACSTOP), the Santa Fe National Forest Service and area businesses will be in attendance. The Cerrito Boat Ramp at Abiquiu Lake is located at the east side of the dam, two miles west of the Highway 84 and Highway 96 junction.
