The Upstart Crows theatre troupe present their first George Bernard Shaw production, Androcles and the Lion, August 6, 8, 12, 14, 2021, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The tale of Androcles and the Lion is said to have been originally written by Aesop, with the moral “Gratitude is the sign of a noble soul! ” This comedy is performed by a cast of 15. The Upstart Crows are a Shakespeare troupe for young people age 10 to 18, who create productions from deep explorations of language and meaning in literature. Tickets for this show are $12.
