In Santa Fe, it’s easy to find blissful spas offering an array of tantalizing treatments for body, mind, and spirit. A Santa Fe spa is guaranteed to ease aches and pains, elevate your spirits, and leave you feeling energized and vibrant. Whether you choose a massage, a skin care treatment, an outdoor or indoor soak, or any other item on the spa menu, you’ll emerge from your visit positively glowing.

To give you an idea of the variety of treatments offered by Santa Fe spas, we’ve highlighted a few below. You’ll find many more when you browse our Spa and Wellness directory:

Spa at Hotel Santa Fe

Step into the Spa at Hotel Santa Fe and you’ll be surrounded by the scents of white sage, piñon sap, and organic lavender. From there, surrender yourself to a realm of relaxation, where Old World and New World healing traditions can transform you from head to toe. You could go with an East Indian massage or Cielo massage, but why not indulge in the the Healing Earth ritual package? The experience begins with a lavender foot bath for calming, then includes body brushing for skin exfoliation and lymph stimulation. Next, a body mask of ancient volcanic clay, infused with  lavender and sandalwood oils, will detox and purify as well as harmonize and soothe. To close the ritual, relax with a customized massage.

For the ultimate in relaxation, try the White Sage spa ritual. It blends the ceremonial aroma of sage that clears stress and fatigue with a massage focused on reflexology points in worn-out feet. An herbal wrap infused with sage both detoxes and grounds the body, restoring your vitality. If winter wreaked havoc on your skin, then the Squash Blossom Body Scrub & Wrap is for you. Unwind as your body is wrapped in a warm blend of brown sugar scrub and a pumpkin mask full of vitamins. The experience not only exfoliates and smoothes your skin, it replenishes your body.

OJO Santa Fe

Sunrise Springs Spa

A 20-minute drive from Santa Fe takes you worlds away from life’s hustle and bustle, to the peaceful oasis of Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort. This luxury Santa Fe retreat has been voted  “World’s Best Spa 2021” by Travel & Leisure. Here, natural spring-fed outdoor pools, garden paths, and tall trees create a lush paradise, perfect for finding your bliss. You can soak in an outdoor pool beneath a turquoise sky by day, a star-studded sky at night, or in an outdoor private mineral-infused soaking tub, a relaxing magnesium-based soak that eases stress and aches.

Then choose from an array of massage options — hot stone, deep-tissue, or your own customized massage. The Satva Botanicals Massage employs CBD products and light to medium pressure to provide long-lasting relief to people with sore muscles, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, or arthritis. The Rio Grande Hot Stone Massage will melt away all your stress with hand-gathered basalt stones harvested from the Southwest. Before you leave, walk the onsite Medicine Wheel, a circle with many meanings in different cultures. To the Native Americans, this circle represents the innate power to heal possessed by nature and humans.

Spa at Four Seasons

The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado will whisk you away from a world-weary day with a creative menu of services. This sanctuary offers serenity and sacred space, designed after ceremonial kiva rooms used by the Ancestral Puebloans. The scent of burning sage is meant to remove unwanted energy. Special treatments draw on native ingredients to restore you through massage and bodywork, skin and body treatments, and spiritual enhancement.

If you’re seeking rejuvenation after the long winter, try the Mountain Spirit Purification ritual. Inspired by the Native American connection to nature, the ritual draws on juniper, sage, and adobe clay to awaken, cleanse, and revive all of your senses. Or, quench your dry skin with the Blue Corn and Honey Renewal treatment, a wrap combining exfoliating blue corn with hydrating wildflower honey. As you sink into relaxation, enjoy a renewal treatment for you scalp and foot, and then a skin-nourishing massage. For deeper relaxation, the Sacred Stone Massage blends hot and cold river stones with skilled massage to transport you to another realm. And if your chi, or energy flow, feels out of sorts, the Chakra Balancing spiritual enhancement will help, as it balances your body’s energetic centers of spiritual power.

Nidah, located at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa, transports you to a world of rejuvenation and relaxation. Nidah features a unique blend of modern and ancient healing techniques that utilize only the highest quality of botanicals, essential oils, gemstones, and minerals. Their services include body rituals (massages), massage enhancements, and facials. The Spirit of Heritage massage is 105 minutes of pure bliss that will leave your senses awakened and your spirit in balance. This massage begins with a foot soak and a foot and scalp massage followed up by their 80-minute Custom Mindful Massage that employs Himalayan salt stones and multiple modalities and pressure ranges. If your spirit is in need of some attention, their Energy Work massage includes Reiki, Spiritual Healing, and Polarity Therapy.

Choose from four different revitalizing facial packages that all include pore cleansing, exfoliation, soothing facial massage, and customized serums and masks. These are offered in 50- or 80-minute sessions. The longer sessions include a hand and foot hydration treatment.

The Spa at the Inn & Spa at Loretto is the only Santa Fe resort and spa that has the distinction of creating its very own custom-crafted essential oil aromatherapy blends called “Spirit of Loretto,” which can be added to any of their body rituals or massages. You have a choice between three body rituals, three massages, and three facials. Massage enhancements include Himalayan hot stones, your choice of aroma therapy, and CBD massage cream.

The 4 Elements body ritual is designed to connect you to the spirt of New Mexico featuring a Native American smudge blessing, spa bath infused with local Santa Fe lemongrass-white sage soaking salts, and an 80-minute hydrating massage with locally made lemongrass-white sage (or un-scented oil if you prefer) and warm Himalayan salt stones. You will leave the ritual with a Taos sage bundle and Native smudging prayer to bring home you experience.

The Signature Desert Glow Facial uses all 100% organic products to help your skin rediscover its natural healthy glow through exfoliation, pore cleansing, a facial masque, fruit acids, and a soothing facial massage. If you choose the 80-minute version you will also receive a light therapy treatment and a hand and foot moisturizing treatment.
