Help Those Less Fortunate at the Hungry Mouth Festival

As long as there are mouths to feed, there will always be a need for compassionate giving, both from the heart and the kitchen. Now in its 12th year, the Hungry Mouth Festival returns to benefit St. Elizabeth Shelters & Supportive Housing, bringing together Santa Fe’s finest chefs for an unforgettable evening of gourmet food, live music, and charitable spirit. The festival will be held at the Scottish Rite Temple on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with proceeds directly supporting the shelter’s mission to combat homelessness.

This Year’s Competition

Guests can look forward to a culinary experience featuring a five-course dinner crafted by some of Santa Fe’s most talented chefs. The menu includes:

  • Appetizer – David Sellers, Horno Restaurant
  • Salad – Jackson Ault, Santa Fe Chef
  • Vegetarian Entrée – Jeffrey Kaplan, Rowley Farmhouse Brewery
  • Meat Entrée – Angel Rene Franco, Palace Prime
  • Dessert – Suzanne Hart, Nothing Bundt Cakes

Wine pairings for the evening will be provided by Republic National Distribution Center. Attendees will vote on their favorite dishes, with one chef being crowned Top Chef of the night.

The Evening’s Entertainment

The evening begins with music from Matthew Andrae during the cocktail hour, followed by lively tunes from JJ & the Hooligans after dinner, offering guests the chance to dance and celebrate while supporting a great cause.
