1. REGISTER TO VOTE or CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION

Register to vote online at nmvote.org
Go to: Voter Information Portal – Register to Vote.
If you don’t have an address, use a family member’s address or your homeless shelter.

Confirm your registration. nmvote.org
Go to: Voter Information Portal – Find my Registration & Voter Info.

Oct 6:

Community Voter Registration ends. Forms must be delivered to County Clerk by 5:00pm.

Oct 7-30:

In-person same day Voter Registration at County Clerk’s Office
(100 Catron St.) Photo ID required
8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Mon thru Fri)

2. REQUEST ABSENTEE BALLOT – ONLINE, BY MAIL, BY PHONE

NOW – Oct 20:

Paper application can be printed out now, and dropped off at County

Clerk’s office, or mailed to County Clerk PO Box. (SEE BOTTOM) http://www.santafecountynm.gov/userfiles/ABGeraldine.pdf Important to mail ASAP.

Go to: Voter Information Portal – Find my Registration & Voter Info **Online application is fastest and most efficient way to apply.**

Sept 14:

County Clerk will mail a paper application to every registered voter. No need to wait for that. Drop off or mail your application now.
**Make sure your application matches your voter registration info exactly, or it will be denied.**

Oct 6:

Absentee ballots will be mailed to all voters who successfully applied. Allow plenty of time to receive and return ballot. Drop off boxes are more efficient than mail.

3. ABSENTEE & EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING

Oct 6-31:

8:00AM to 5:00PM (Mon thru Fri, PLUS Sat Oct 31)
Please Note: Because of COVID, the location has been moved to the Santa Fe Community Convention Center

Oct 12:

Office closed in observance of Indigenous People’s Day

Oct 31 only:

In-Person Voting at County Clerk’s Office. No other Saturdays.
