What to do AFTER Zozobra?

Read on to find out who's open late...

As Santa Fe gets ready to burn Will Shuster’s Zozobra on Friday night, September 4th at Fort Marcy Park, many residents have one burning question on their minds (see what I did there), “Where can I get a drink or a bite to eat after Zozo is but a charred shell?” Chanting BURN HIM at the top of one’s lungs for an hour or two can really work up an appetite, but who will be open so you can get your post gloom-incineration grub and/or adult beverage on? Well, I did a little calling around town so you don’t have to! The following is a list of local establishments that will be open until at least 11pm on Zozobra night:

Agave Lounge – 12:00am

Burrito Spot – 1:00am

Cava Lounge – 11:00pm

Cowgirl BBQ – 12:30am

Del Charro Saloon– 12:00am

Garduños at the Lodge at Santa Fe – 11:00pm

Infierno – 12:00am

Joseph’s Culinary Pub – 11:00pm

La Fiesta Lounge at La Fonda on the Plaza – 11:30pm

Low ‘N Slow Lowrider Bar at Hotel Chimayó de Santa Fe – 12:30am

Rooftop Pizzeria – 11:00pm

Secreto Lounge at Hotel St. Francis – 12:00am

Skylight – 2:00am

Thunderbird Bar and Grill – 11:00pm

Tiny’s Restaurant and Lounge – 1:30am

Depending upon how late you decide to go, you might be wise to call ahead if it’s food you’re looking for. Zozobra events begin at 7:00pm at Fort Marcy Park on Friday, September 4th, with the burning expected to happen at around 9:30pm. Have fun, be safe and most importantly… BURN HIM!
