All Things Real Estate - May 21, 2017

This weekly radio show features host and Sotheby's International Realty's Associate Broker Rey Post (NM REC License #45660) and a variety of special guests offering the best news, information and commentary regarding every aspect of today's real estate market.
In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guests for a “How We Help People In Real Estate”- themed discussion. May 21 is the 136-year anniversary of the founding of the American Red Cross, one of our nation’s premier humanitarian organizations, dedicated to helping people in need throughout the United States. Inspired by this historic occasion and the mission of the non-profit, Rey and his guests will speak to how real estate professionals do their small part to help people achieve their own home buying, selling, owning and renting goals.

Gateway Mortgage Group “Home Buyer Tip”: Scott Robinson (NMLS#202265), Santa Fe Branch Manager at the Gateway Mortgage Group, will offer his own thoughts on the theme of the Sunday show and also provide his regular mortgage tip that can benefit home buyers who are purchasing a property in collaboration with a lender. The Gateway Mortgage Group is one of the largest privately held mortgage companies in the country, doing its entire mortgage servicing in-house. This business element is important, since it means that Gateway’s customers work directly with them until the time their loan is paid.

Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC Update: Donna Jones White, Owner and Qualifying Broker of Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC, will discuss the options for vacation, furnished 30-day and long-term unfurnished properties that her firm offers to visitors who travel to our city. Visitors to Santa Fe turn to Donna’s company to aid them in finding comfortable and high-quality residences for their stays in our community.

How Brokers Aid Their Clients: Rey will offer his own thoughts on the numerous ways that professional real estate brokers provide assistance to their clients, as they tackle the sometimes challenging process of buying, or selling a home.

Open House of the Week: Rey will review the attributes of 506 San Antonio with his Sotheby’s International Realty broker colleague Darlene Streit. This beautiful two-story, three-bedroom home offers numerous features and a spectacular outdoor living area, and is located on Santa Fe’s desirable and historic Eastside.

In the second hour of the show, join the Reside Home team of Jeff Fenton and Chris Martinez who will host their monthly interior design program. This month’s show will focus on “The Art of Accessories: The How and Why of Placing Them in Your Home.” Jeff and Chris will also speak about the local artists that Reside Home represents in a special segment called “Artists in RESIDEence.” Reside Home is a design-based, boutique home furnishings showroom in Santa Fe, offering a unique mix of national brands, paired with one-of-a-kind pieces, all displayed to inspire. The firm is also proud to offer a private label upholstery collection, Reside Loft. From furniture to rugs, lighting, pillows, art, accessories, and bedding, Reside Home has what it takes to make your home beautiful.
