Coffee and Culture - July 12, 2017

During the first half hour, El Palacio editor in chief Candace Walsh interviews curator Penelope Hunter-Stiebel about the exhibition of Mirror, Mirror: Photography of Frida Kahlo. This exhibition traces the artist's life from adolescence to maturity in over 50 images by prominent photographers at the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art. During the second half hour, she speaks with New Mexico History Museum director Andrew Wulf about the museum’s collaboration with the Santa Fe Opera, inspired by the opera’s debut of The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, including the museum’s new makerspace.
