In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Santa Fe affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) invites the public to participate in NAMIWalks Santa Fe 2025, a community-centered mental health advocacy event to raise awareness and support for mental health resources.
This inclusive, family-friendly event takes place Saturday, May 17, at Alto/Bicentennial Park and features music, educational presentations from mental health professionals, resource tables highlighting local mental health services, and a peaceful walk along the Santa Fe River Trail.
Event Details
Everyone is welcome. Support individuals with mental health challenges (perhaps, including yourself), and stand in solidarity with the Santa Fe community.

Time: Registration at 9 a.m., walk begins at 10 a.m.
Location: Alto/Bicentennial Park, 1121 Alto Street, Santa Fe, NM
Event Schedule
- Meet at Alto/Bicentennial Park at 9 a.m.
- Enjoy activities like music, mental health information booths, and community presentations
- Walk 1.5 miles along the Santa Fe River at 10 a.m.
Donations are not required to walk! Your presence alone makes a difference in fighting mental health stigma. Come out and help shine a light on the importance of mental wellness and mental health treatment access in the Santa Fe community.
