In the 1st hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-host---Bonnie Davis, Professional Community Association Manager with the homeowner association management company, Westgate Properties, LLC---for the seventh in a series of broadcasts that addresses the ways that those who work in real estate, other businesses, or community organizations, are pursuing their lives and professions, while dealing with the current coronavirus situation.

Community Association Management Update:

Bonnie will reflect on the show’s coronavirus theme, and also offer observations on the ways---in April 2020---that Westgate Properties, LLC is assisting the residents of the more than 60 homeowner (HOA) and condo (COA) association communities that the company manages in Northern New Mexico. Bonnie will also review the elements of the second hour of the show that she hosts. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Westgate Properties, LLC specializes in the management of multi-tenant commercial properties and homeowner associations. Their goal is to promote community through highly responsive management with the aim that quality of life, quality of work and the value of one’s real estate investment is improved. Bonnie, her colleague Tom Simon---the owner of Westgate Properties, LLC---and their regular second hour guest commentators, have returned to the ATRE radio show in 2020, to offer valuable real estate input on the last Sunday of each month.

Kitchen Angels Role In The Community:

Dwayne Trujillo, Development Officer of non-profit Kitchen Angels, will join Rey for a discussion of the current activities of this well-regarded organization, as it addresses the coronavirus situation, while serving the Santa Fe community. Founded in 1992, the mission of Kitchen Angels is to provide free, nutritious meals to homebound individuals facing life-challenging conditions. In addition, the organization serves the residents of Santa Fe---and other Northern New Mexico communities---who are also in a health crisis, lack the resources for regular meals, and are not eligible for other local meal services. Besides offering information on the organization’s day-to-day operation, Dwayne will also review the ways that the public can offer assistance, especially as scheduled events in 2020---designed to benefit the good works of Kitchen Angels---have been canceled during our current health crisis.

Rey’s “Real Estate Recommendation":

Rey’s weekly real estate recommendation will offer information on the ongoing efforts of Sotheby’s International Realty to address the needs of home buyers and sellers, as the coronavirus situation continues. Rey will also share some thoughts on an ongoing element of teamwork, that he and all of his broker colleagues subscribe to. Specifically, that the marketing and administrative staff at the Santa Fe office of Sotheby’s International Realty are offering an even greater level of professional assistance to the company’s brokers and clients, during this exceptionally challenging period of time.

Property of the Week:

Rey will review the attributes of 920 Galisteo Street with his Sotheby’s International Realty broker colleague Adrienne DeGuere. Located in Santa Fe's desirable South Capitol district, this two casita condominium offering represents a rare chance for investors, or for the buyer who wants to live in one unit and rent out the other. Unit A (1,000 square feet +/-) features two bedrooms and one bathroom plus a small bonus room that could function well as an office. The charming Unit B, is light and bright and offers one bedroom and one bathroom (629 square feet +/-). Originally built in the 40's, both casitas were totally renovated in 2010 with all new electric, gas, windows, doors, and a foam roof. The granite countertops and cherry cabinets elevate the kitchens and bathrooms, and the original oak hard-wood flooring adds warmth and charm. Both casitas enjoy their own private courtyard areas and gated off street parking for multiple vehicles. There is even a large basement perfect for any of your additional storage needs. The two casita condominium is located within walking distance to the Santa Fe Plaza, or Trader Joe’s.
