Rey’s “Real Estate Recommendation”: Rey’s weekly real estate recommendation will offer some suggestions on how to make the home buying and selling process a bit easier, more efficient and less time consuming for consumers. An ongoing recommendation that Rey offers is to check out his listing of a 10-acre parcel of land, just nine miles east of Abiquiu, and situated above the Rio Chama, with 360-degree vistas (see the "Unique Destinations" section on ATREradio.com).
Open House of the Week: Rey will review the attributes of 4 Redondo Court, which his Sotheby’s International Realty broker colleague Sara Sacra is holding open for the public on Sunday afternoon. This beautifully updated and expansive three-bedroom, three-full-bathroom home is located in the neighborhood of Eldorado. Timeless details abound such as wood vigas, tall ceilings, corner kiva fireplace, brick flooring, and the custom entry coat closet. A major addition in 2002 added to the original home, including a spacious master bedroom en suite, and a large media room that could also be an office, library, or a great play area. Additional 2002 updates include: wide plank wood flooring in the living room and all bedrooms, plus all new wood casement windows throughout. The kitchen was completely remodeled in 2010 adding new wood custom cabinets, granite counter tops, and new stainless-steel appliances. Sited toward the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, there are dramatic views at the home year-round, and a beautiful quality of interior natural light. A perfect blend of classic Santa Fe charm with all of the updates that today’s buyers are seeking.
