In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-host John Grisak, President of Fix My Roof, LLC, and their guests as they mark a special event occurring 236 years ago this Sunday.

On October 6, 1783, Benjamin Hanks received a 14-year intellectual rights patent from the Assembly of Connecticut, on a church tower clock that he built and installed, which automatically wound itself by air.

Self-winding clocks were important because they supplied robust time that one could depend on for synchronization. As our nation developed, managing time was essential to day-to-day operations for a variety of concerns: railroads, factories, schools, and any number of businesses.

Using this historic occasion as the backdrop for the discussion, Rey, John and their guests will speak to why effectively managing time in real estate and other business activities, has significant impact on one’s success.

Real Estate Broker Observations: In the spirit of the self-winding clock creation, Rey will offer his thoughts on how real estate professionals establish routines for managing time effectively to achieve the goals of their home buyer and seller clients. In what is probably the largest expenditure that any consumer will have in their life, as well as being one of the most complex transactions they will encounter, Rey will reflect on the value that experienced, well-educated and licensed real estate brokers bring to their client activities.

2019 Roofing and Home Maintenance Update: John Grisak, President of Fix My Roof, LLC, will offer some observations on the “time management” theme, including the nature of work that he and his team of professionals pursue in their roof restoration efforts. John will also update the audience on not only the cutting-edge procedures and products that his company uses in residential and commercial roof restoration, but also the services offered by two of his other roofing companies, including those offered by Fiddler Roofing NM. Fix My Roof, LLC, is committed to restoring existing roofs for a fraction of the cost of roof replacement while maximizing a positive impact on the environment by embracing environmentally responsible practices and educating the greater community about environmental stewardship. Headquartered in Santa Fe, John’s two roofing companies have completed both residential and commercial jobs in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, El Dorado, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Cochiti, Las Cruces, Alamogordo, Silver City, and many more locations.

Gateway Mortgage Group “Home Buyer Tip”: Besides offering his thoughts on the theme of Sunday’s show, Scott Robinson, Mortgage Sales Manager at the Gateway Mortgage Group, NMLS 202265, will also provide a useful mortgage tip that can benefit home buyers who are purchasing a property in collaboration with a lender. The Gateway Mortgage Group is one of the largest privately held mortgage companies in the country, doing its entire mortgage servicing in-house.
