All Things Real Estate: Second Hour - April 28, 2019All Things Real Estate
In the second hour of the show, join hosts Tom Simon and Bonnie Davis, Professional Community Association Managers (PCAM) of Westgate Properties, LLC and their special guest, homeowner association (HOA) legal expert Lynne Krupnik of Krupnik & Speas, PLLC, as they take a deep dive into the recently amended New Mexico Homeowners Association Act. The HOA Act received a substantial makeover during this year’s New Mexico legislative session, with the changes eventually signed into law by Governor Michele Lujan Grisham. The new law becomes effective on July 1, 2019. This discussion will provide extremely valuable information on the ways the new law will affect how an HOA is managed, whether it has a self-managed board of directors, or employs a community manager, or management company.
Tom and Bonnie will also be joined by their other regular content providers, who are offering commentary during all the second hour shows in 2019 hosted by Westgate Properties, LLC:
Insurance Advice: Vincent Marciano of the ADV Insurance Agency—specializing in community association insurance needs—joins the show to discuss the theme of the Sunday broadcast, as well as offer his monthly insurance counsel on other matters of interest to home owners.
Landscape Tip: Sean Gabriel, Principal with locally-owned and operated Proscape Landscape Management, will offer his landscape tip of the month and also speak to the theme of the second hour of the program.
HOA/COA Legal Tip: In addition to speaking to the theme of the second hour of the show, Attorney Lynn Krupnik of Krupnik & Speas, PLLC, will also offer her monthly legal commentary, designed to benefit home owners who reside in community association neighborhoods.
