Santa Fe Home Builder Perspective:
Rey will join in a conversation with Kim Shanahan, a former Executive Officer of the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association, and current host of the SFAHBA’s “Green Building & Sustainable Development” radio show airing on the Hutton Broadcasting KTRC radio station. Kim will offer his thoughts on the teamwork theme of the show, as well as some observations on the current state of the home construction industry. In late 2018, Kim announced his plans to transition out of the SFAHBA Executive Officer position. In what many characterize as an amazing 10 years since Kim went from being the association’s Board President in 2008, to then assuming the Executive Officer duties, Kim noted in 2018 that it “has been an honor and a privilege to serve our members and our industry on a local, state, and national level.” Kim intends to stay active as a SFAHBA builder member and will continue to volunteer on many levels. In 2020, the SFAHBA continues as a corporate supporter of, and content provider for the “All Things Real Estate” radio show.
