This weekly radio show features host and Sotheby's International Realty's Associate Broker Rey Post (NM REC License #45660) and a variety of special guests offering the best news, information and commentary regarding every aspect of today's real estate market.
In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-host, John Grisak, President of Fix My Roof, LLC, for a Fourth of July-inspired discussion of current real estate issues. As history notes, our nation’s Continental Congress approved the final wording of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. They'd been working on it for a couple of days after the draft was submitted on July 2 and finally agreed on all of the edits and changes.
Today, the Fourth of July is a celebratory time of fireworks, barbecues, and comradery, and for so many people around the nation, it is big part of their identity. It is important to remember this this day—our American national holiday—is a commemoration of the adoption of the document which formally severed all ties between England and the United States in 1776. The Declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal and are entitled to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." These ideas would be expressed again in our new republic's Constitution and they form the basis of our beliefs about the role of our government in our lives today.
So, in the spirit of this historic occasion, Rey and his guests will discuss the simple premise of why living in our nation, owning a home (or wishing to do so) and enjoying all that the United States offers to us, is worthy of a moment of reflection as we mark the holiday.

Real Estate Brokers and July 4: Rey will offer some thoughts on how real estate professionals help to underscore the importance of Independence Day, as they work with their home buyer and seller clients. In addition, Rey will also offer his weekly “Rey’s Real Estate Recommendation,” which is designed to make the home buying and selling process a bit easier and more enjoyable for consumers. In addition, Rey will remind the audience that the Sotheby's International Realty® brand has partnered with New Story, a non-profit organization that puts 100 percent of donations toward transforming dangerous living environments into communities of safe, sustainable homes, for $6,000 a home. Go to https://www.sothebysrealty.com/eng/newstory for more information on this significant initiative.
2018 Roofing and Home Maintenance Update: John Grisak, President of Fix My Roof, LLC, will offer some observations on the program’s theme, by speaking to the importance of recognizing the values our nation’s Declaration of Independence has offered to all of us. John will also review the cutting-edge procedures and products that his company uses in residential and commercial roof restoration, as well as why now is the time to give special attention to the condition of your home’s roof, as we move into the summer months. Fix My Roof, LLC, is committed to restoring existing roofs for a fraction of the cost of roof replacement while maximizing a positive impact on the environment by embracing environmentally responsible practices and educating the greater community about environmental stewardship. Headquartered in Santa Fe, the company has completed both residential and commercial jobs in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, El Dorado, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Cochiti, Las Cruces, Alamogordo, Silver City, and many more locations.
Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery Update: Stephen Etre, Owner of Stephen’s, A Consignment Gallery, will address the show theme by speaking to the important role that estate sales play in the process of moving home ownership from one consumer to another. Stephen’s gallery is known for offering premier estate sale services and has—for many years—been called upon by real estate professionals, lawyers and personal financial advisors to administer a number of well-known estate sale events in Santa Fe. With more than 13,000 square feet of display space, the gallery has been a place that home buyers, sellers and owners—along with real estate professionals—have gone to for more than 36 years to find unique art, antiques, jewelry, furniture, and home accessories.
Rey’s “Real Estate Recommendation”: Rey’s weekly real estate recommendation offers some specific thoughts on how real estate brokers can offer some holiday-inspired marketing activities that aid in informing home buyers and sellers about the unique talents that they can bring to the real estate process.
Open House of the Week: Rey will review the attributes of 100 Amberwood Loop, with his Sotheby’s International Realty broker colleague Jody Spehar. This four-bedroom and single-level home is sited right on the golf course inside the secure gates of Estates III in the Las Campanas neighborhood of Santa Fe, and offers numerous amenities, as well as fantastic views in every direction.

In the second hour of the show, Jeff Brown, Owner of WIN Home Inspection, and his guests will offer their monthly broadcast, speaking to a variety of home inspection and maintenance issues, as well as the state of the local real estate market. From the “Best Of” vault of previous broadcasts, a special rearing of the May 6 show will be offered, featuring two special guests joining Jeff. Debbie Hodge, Loan Originator with the Gateway Mortgage Group, will offer thoughts on a variety of mortgage issues that can benefit home buyers who are purchasing a property in collaboration with a lender. The Gateway Mortgage Group—a corporate supporter of “All Things Real Estate”—is one of the largest privately held mortgage companies in the country, doing its entire mortgage servicing in-house. This business element is important, since it means that Gateway’s customers work directly with them until the time their loan is paid. Commentary contained within this broadcast is for informational purposes only and should not be considered a solicitation to extend credit. Debbie works with Scott Robinson, NMLS 202265, a licensed Branch Manager with Gateway Mortgage Group, located at 502 West Cordova Road, Suite 1, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505. All loans are subject to program guidelines and final underwriting approval. Gateway Mortgage Group, LLC, is an equal housing lender. NMLS 7233.
Also joining Jeff on this show rebroadcast, is Laurie Farber-Condon, President of the Women’s Council of Realtors Santa Fe. The Council is dedicated to fostering professional and personal success for its members and encouraging and supporting leadership in business and our Santa Fe community. Offering his monthly “Home Inspector’s Tip” is Matt Rivera, a professional home inspector and a member of the WIN Home Inspection team. WIN is well known for providing comprehensive, experienced, and professional home inspections, with the goal of helping to make the real estate transaction process go smoothly. Buyers can make an informed decision on the home they are purchasing, as well as planning for upgrades down the road, while sellers who obtain a pre-inspection can often see their listing sell more quickly.
