All Things Real Estate - June 18, 2017

This weekly radio show features host and Sotheby's International Realty's Associate Broker Rey Post (NM REC License #45660) and a variety of special guests offering the best news, information and commentary regarding every aspect of today's real estate market.

In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guests for a “Father’s Day”-inspired discussion of timely real estate issues important to dads and their families, whether they are buying, selling, owning, or renting a home.

Gateway Mortgage Group “Home Buyer Tip”: Scott Robinson (NMLS#202265), Santa Fe Branch Manager at the Gateway Mortgage Group, will offer his own thoughts on the theme of the Sunday show and also provide his regular mortgage tip that can benefit home buyers who are purchasing a property in collaboration with a lender. The Gateway Mortgage Group is one of the largest privately held mortgage companies in the country, doing its entire mortgage servicing in-house. This business element is important, since it means that Gateway’s customers work directly with them until the time their loan is paid.

Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC, Update: Donna Jones White, Owner and Qualifying Broker of Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, LLC, will offer suggestions that relate to the Father’s Day theme of the show that will include options for vacation, furnished 30-day and long-term unfurnished properties that her firm offers to visitors who travel to our city. Visitors to Santa Fe turn to Donna’s company to aid them in finding comfortable and high-quality residences for their stays in our community.

Fathers and Real Estate: Rey will offer his own thoughts on the numerous ways that professional real estate brokers provide assistance to dads and their families, as they tackle the sometimes challenging process of buying, or selling a home.

Open House of the Week: Rey will review the attributes of 15 Cerrado Loop with his Sotheby’s International Realty broker colleague Bob Burbic. This passive solar, three-bedroom home offers numerous features and mountain views and is located in the great, family-friendly community of Eldorado, just a short drive to downtown Santa Fe.

June marks the eight-year anniversary of the first broadcast of the "All Things Real Estate" (ATRE) radio show. Throughout this month of shows, our guests—in both hours of the program—will speak about their relationship with ATRE, as well as how the program serves as a vehicle for communicating with home buyers, sellers and owners in our community and across the nation.

In the second hour of the show, join the Reside Home team of Jeff Fenton and Chris Martinez who will host their monthly interior design program. This month’s show will honor Father’s Day with a special theme: “Man Caves: The evolution and the design styles that incorporate a space that is all your own—whether for a guy or a lady!” Reside Home is a design-based, boutique home furnishings showroom in Santa Fe, offering a unique mix of national brands, paired with one-of-a-kind pieces, all displayed to inspire. The firm is also proud to offer a private-label upholstery collection, Reside Loft. From furniture to rugs, lighting, pillows, art, accessories, and bedding, Reside Home has what it takes to make your home beautiful.
